A UK soldier died on Saturday at his Kenyan girlfriend’s home in Nanyuki. David Jones is said to have complained of a headache before collapsing and dying on the spot. “He told the longtime girlfriend that he had a severe headache before vomiting. He later collapsed and died,” Laikipia East police boss James Kithuka said. He was at his girlfriend’s house, Joyce Nyakinyua on the said evening. Former Chief Justice, Dr Willy Mutunga has condemned the alleged killing of civilians by police officers in Kibera, Kisumu and Mathare. Mutunga protested against acting CS Interior Security, Fred Matiang’i’s statement where he said that the demonstrations that were on going were not peaceful. Johnston Muthama has on behalf of NASA once again rejected the IEBC presidential results that declared Uhuru Kenyatta President. Police have allegedly teargassed worshipers in Litevan SDA Church, Kawangware. The officers apparently threw the teargas canister by hand throw the church window where the worshipers were going about their business. IEBC Chairman, Wafula Chebukati’s neighbour had his vehicles set on fire on Friday night by rowdy youth who took to the streets after Uhuru Kenyatta was declared President. Stephane George, 8 years was on Saturday afternoon shot in Mathare area. Stephane was a pupil at Mathare North primary school. According to the neighbours, the girl succumbed to the gun shot injuries and has since been taken to the mortuary. Uhuru Kenyatta has been declared the President of the Republic of Kenya by the IEBC chairman, Wafula Chebukati at the Bomas of Kenya. Mr Kenyatta who was running on a Jubilee party ticket garnered 8.2million (54.27%) against NASA candidate, Raila Odinga’s 6.7 million votes which translated into 44.74%. There was chaos at the Lamu West tallying centre after ODM parliamentary candidate Rishad Hamid Ahmed beat down the Returning Officer, Abdalla Chikophe accusing him of rigging him out.
