A UK soldier died on Saturday at his Kenyan girlfriend’s home in Nanyuki.
David Jones is said to have complained of a headache before collapsing and dying on the spot.
“He told the longtime girlfriend that he had a severe headache before vomiting. He later collapsed and died,” Laikipia East police boss James Kithuka said.
He was at his girlfriend’s house, Joyce Nyakinyua on the said evening.
The man who is said to have been in his 30s is rumoured to have taken sex enhancement drugs right before he died.

There were gunshots fired in the air to help disperse the crowd at the scene of incident.
David’s remains were picked up by a British Army ambulance and later taken to Nairobi for an autopsy.
Just like Jones, British soldiers in the area have been involved in what many would call scandalous love affairs with local women.
