Churchill show’s Sleepy David was on the limelight for allegedly refusing to pay a photographer after what seems like one steamy photo shoot with an unidentified lady. The unnamed photographer exposed him for defaulting pay as agreed and released the suggestive photos of Sleepy getting cozy with the lady. Apparently Sleepy pleaded with the photographer to not send the pictures to the lady involved. The photographer is said to have told the comedian that the lady was the least of his problems.

Karatina and Mathira residents in Nyeri county have rejected President Uhuru Kenyatta’s six piece voting plan to secure the most votes for Jubilee Party. The President addressed a mammoth crowd in Karatina town where he urged voters to elect the party’s senator, governor, women representative, MP and MCA candidates. Traffic cops  from Thika police station caused drama on Thika Super Highway on Thursday when EACC detectives arrested six of them for allegedly taking bribes. The officers put up a fierce fight when detectives from the anti-corruption agency pounced at about 9am. Three of them were apprehended at Witeithie Estate bridge in Juja sub-county and the others at another roadblock. A team from the station is said to have helped one gain freedom while another officer escaped. The two officers left behind their caps and badges. The incident attracted a crowd. Mike Sonko has hit back at former Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth for his ‘wearing suits without brains’ remark but noted he has forgiven him. Gem MP Jakoyo Midiwo has denied claims that his cousin Oburu Oginga brought him up. The former Bondo MP told a rally on Tuesday that he took care of Midiwo after his parents died. He noted this while demanding the latter’s respect. National Assembly’s Deputy Minority Leader however refuted the claims saying Oburu’s claims were unfounded and that he is only seeking “cheap political mileage”. A rogue administration police officer has shot dead two colleagues and injured another in Marigat, Baringo county. The officer identified as Jackson Mwangi Nyaga shot dead Gabriel Kungu Njoroge and Francis Ekeno at the Rapid Deployment Unit camp in Arabal/Kasiela, Baringo. The injured officer, Daniel Kyalo Mutuku, was left with serious gunshot wounds and is admitted at the Marigat sub-county hospital. Jackson is said to have taken off taking with him the murder weapon. It is however not clear what his motives were. Police have launched investigations into the matter and a manhunt as well.

Raila Odinga, NASA flag bearer has asked Kenyans to support his ‘adopt a polling station’ initiative. According to the former premier, guarding their votes will and is a costly affair. NASA intends to have every polling station manned by at least 10 people. The coalition will need Ksh. 410 Million to make sure they are not rigged out of this election and that their supporters get to the polling stations. Machakos county last week on Tuesday lost dedicated aides in a freak accident that claimed four lives. The first lady, Lillian Ng’ang’a had just been escorted back home after spending her day at Yatta sub county when her four bodyguards were involved in a grisly road accident that saw all of them lose their lives on the spot. Lillian together with the governor, Alfred Mutua joined the family of one of the guards that perished in the accident. Oburu Odinga has claimed his cousin Jakoyo Midiwo was a beneficiary of the rigged 2013 ODM nominations. Odinga said that together with some ODM party members, they schemed to rig the nominations in favor of the Gem MP. Mwanaisha Chidzuga is not happy with Uchumi Supermarket. The Capital Centre branch apparently sold Mungatana’s wife an expired cake. According to Chidzuga, the cake tasted like quinine and has caused her daughter a stomach upset and a sore throat. 5 people were on Wednesday morning injured as a 33 seater Rongai route bound matatu veered off the road and rolled along the busy Lang’ata road near Wilson Airport. The injured were rushed to Kenyatta Hospital for treatment.
