National Super Alliance (NASA) co-principal and Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto had reportedly taken a back seat from campaigning for the camp.
It seems like the governor who is also seeking re-election for the Bomet county top seat, is on the campaign trail and this time around, he is not playing around.
Governor Ruto, who is defending his seat against Jubilee’s Joyce Laboso, was caught on tape campaigning for the Raila led team.
Bomet county boss was in Nakuru where he tore the Deputy President to shreds and dismissed the government’s development claims. He went on to mocking the DP by playing an audio recording of him campaigning in Elgweyo Marakwet where every utterance he made was met with NASA chants.
The two political animals have been fighting to gain control of the Rift and it seems like the governor might be gaining ground.
