The Laikipia Farmers Association (LFA) on Tuesday told off the former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga. In a statement, the association has told the opposition leader that its members contributed Sh10 billion towards Laikipia County’s economy between 2014 and 2016. Raila Odinga is today expected to declare his position on the recently awarded ballot papers tender. The opposition led by Raila Odinga, moved to the High Court in February asking for a nullification of the same tender sighting illegalities in its awarding. Kimani Ngunjiri, Bahati Mp, allegedly beat up an Independent parliamentary candidate, James Mbugua who is also vying for the Bahati  parliamentary seat. US forces have, in unconfirmed reports,  killed al-Shabaab leader Ahmed Diriye in an air strike sanctioned by US President Donald Trump. Somalia President Mohamed Farmajo in a statement said he endorsed the attack in partnership with the US government. Also killed in the lethal strikes was Abdirahim Mohamed Warsame alias Mahad Karate, the man behind the Garissa University College attack in 2015 that claimed the lives of 152 people mostly students. Wavinya Ndeti, Machakos Gubernatorial aspirant on a Wiper ticket has today lost her brother, Dominic Ndeti. His sister Kalondu Ndeti has confirmed the sad news.
