Protests have since erupted in Bungoma with rowdy youth accusing the Governor Ken Lusaka and Sirisia MP John Waluke as the leaders who ferried them to the rallies with the promise.
The angry youths were demanding pay from their leaders for attending President Uhuru Kenyatta’s rally. The angry youths burnt Jubilee part T-shirts and said the ruling party is not welcome in Bungoma as it is a National Super Alliance (NASA) stronghold.
The crowds camped outside the governor’s office because they did not have money to go back to where they allegedly ferried from.
