Meat and milk consumption has been banned by the county Government of Wajir following the death of four people in Eldas and Wajir West, from Rift Valley Fever (RVF). Tanzanian billionaires Aunali and Sajjad Rajabali have bought seven million shares of Equity Group worth Sh344 million. This expands the duo’s footprint in the Nairobi’s Stock Exchange (NSE) market having invested more than Ksh1.5 billion in NSE-listed firms over the past two years. Reports have emerged that the remains of the Fly SAX victims were sneaked to Nairobi’s Lee Funeral Home, in a bid to thwart plans by more than 300 youths who had sworn to block the bodies from being transported before they were ‘appreciated’. The Competition Authority of Kenya (CAK) has denied renowned city tycoon Humphrey Kariuki license to exclusively import and distribute 214 premium wine and spirit brands including Bacardi-Martini labels. Primefuels Holdings Limited, a Guernsey Channel Islands-based haulier company is one of the companies that will reap big in the Turkana oil transportation deal. Through its subsidiary in Kenya, Primefuels Kenya Ltd, the company will net in the biggest chunk of the Ksh1.5 billion budgeted to pay transporters who include a number of Kenyan firms.
