The late Multi-millionaire, Wambui Otieno’s widower Peter Mbugua has remarried eight years after the death of his first wife. In 2003, Mbugua made headlines when he married 67-year-old Otieno, while he was 25-years old at the time. A nine year old Kenyan girl, over the Easter Weekend, visited President Yoweri Museveni in Rwakitura, Uganda. Sheila Sheldon Charles was accompanied by her mother to Uganda, following a previous invitation by President Museveni. The government has commenced investigations at Shalom Hospital in Athi River, Machakos County where a woman was left to give birth at the facility’s reception while nurses enjoyed their tea. A man and a woman were on Monday morning burnt to death after their car burst into flames near Juja City  Mall along the Thika Superhighway. Confirming the incident, Juja Police Commander Dorothy Migarusha revealed that the incident occurred at 1 am. The Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) is under investigations for awarding a Ksh40 billion tender to a Chinese firm that had been blacklisted by the World Bank. The firm, which was awarded the tender in 2016, was tasked to construct the Kipevu Oil Terminal in Mombasa. According to the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), the firm is also under investigations for inflating the cost of the project from Ksh15 billion to Ksh25 billion and eventually Ksh40 billion. Opposition leader Raila Odinga is set to travel to China with President Uhuru Kenyatta next week in a bid to seek funds for the expansion of the Standard Guage Railway. Uganda President Yoweri Museveni’s car has been recovered near Naivasha, five months after it went missing. According to reports by Flying Squad, the dark blue Toyota Kluger was recovered at the Gilgil weighbridge. The police noted that the men who were in possession of the vehicle fled and are since being sought after. The wife of murdered Kitui County National Youth leader, Benjamin Muema Kinyali, has been detained at Itoleka Police Station for seven days. This was after the police obtained the orders from Kitui Principal Magistrate Johnstone Munguti. One person has died while another sustained serious injury after a container carrying petrol caught fire in Mokowe Jetty, Lamu County. According to reports, the fire which broke out at mid-morning on Friday caused the death of a form three student. Police in Vihiga have detained a man for allegedly killing his friend over a debt of Ksh60 at Elukangu village. According to the police, Justo Njomu owed the deceased, Jackton Masaba, Ksh60 but killed him to presumably to avoid paying the debt.
