A 48-year-old man was arrested for allegedly stabbing and killing his 24-year-old son in Mosobecho village, Nandi County. Kenneth Kipkoech, 24 died at the Kapsabet Referral Hospital on Saturday August 31 evening while being attended to. He had been stabbed in the chest and succumbed to the injuries due to profuse bleeding, police and his family said. There was scare in Nairobi’s Ngara area on Sunday September 1 morning following a fire incident that affected a gas supply station. The fire caused explosions as gas cylinders packed at the station went up in flames and exploded. Police said there was no injury that was reported in the morning incident.
