A former aide of Raila Odinga, Noah Oduo Akala, and his brother Nyangasi Nyangasi, have this evening been released from Kilimani Police Station after being arrested earlier in the afternoon. Security agencies in the country are alarmed after a group associated with the NRM wing of NASA coalition openly distributed small arms to attendees of the Uhuru Park rally. A Gilbert Ogango is suing Siaya Senator and Senor Counsel James Orengo for non-payment of salary accruing to Sh950,000. In the suit, Ogango who claims he served at Orengo’s J A B law firm as a clerk said he was employed via verbal agreement for Sh20,000 but that the senator has refused to pay him despite having worked for 17 months without a salary owing to “hard economic” times as the lawyer allegedly claimed every end month. Almost 90 percent of 2017 KCSE Candidates did not get the C Plus cut off mark required for one to gain entry into the Country’s University system.
