Two Daystar University Student leaders have come out to expose ethnic profiling at the prestigious private Christian University which was closed down last week following unrest. The two who identified themselves as Otieno (Daystar University Valley-Road President) and Karetha Kirimi (Athi-River President) in a recorded video exposed how the management was using divide and rule along tribal lines to govern in a bid to end the boycott. Residents of Rangwe in Homabay County pulled a rather uncanny move when they disrupted a public participation meeting demanding that they be paid Sh1000 each first. Visitors heading to the funeral of the late Nyeri Governor Wahome Gakuru were treated to a scary and are dram when youth in Karatina town flanked down vehicles “while searching for Raila Odinga.” According to Nairobi news, the incident disrupted traffic for hours along the busy Karatina-Nairobi highway as hundreds of youth wrongly got word that Odinga would be passing there to attend the funeral. Activist Japheth Moroko of the famous “baba while you were away” phrase has allegedly gone missing. Police have been accused of firing live bullets at NASA leaders including Raila Odinga, Suna East MP Junnet Mohamed and his Rarieda counterpart Otiende Amollo. Sonko Rescue team on Friday recovered the wreckage of the helicopter that crashed in Lake Nakuru three weeks ago. The rescue team whose competence and qualifications were questioned by Kenyans has been on site for the past three weeks. The Saturday morning crash claimed five lives, including that of Captain Apollo Malowa and Anthony Kipyegon whose remains were found on October, 24.
