A Police Constable, Titus Kipchirchir Kirui has been arrested for allegedly shooting a man in Embakasi in a suspected love triangle. According to a local publication, Constable Kirui will be charged in court with the murder of Charles Karagu. A police statement reveals that Constable Kirui shot Karagu following an argument over a woman. “According to the witnesses, the deceased was shot by a police officer known to them when they had an argument with an unknown male adult over a love triangle involving a woman,” the police statement read in part. Police are investigating a case where rowdy boda boda youths in Siaya burnt an assistant chief’s home after they were denied permits for disco Matanga. The incident is reported to have happened in Ukwala where Yenga Sub-location Assistant Chief Richard Ooko’s houses were torched. ODM leader Raila Odinga is safe after the chopper he was traveling in was involved in a minor accident. The Nationwide curfew running from 10 PM till 4 AM has been extended by another 60  days thus will be in place until July 27, 2021.
