The move comes barely a week after the taxman announced that the Labour Court had allowed KRA to collect Ksh2.7 billion monthly tax on withholding taxes on winnings from betting firm SportPesa. A driver attached to Samburu County government is in police custody after he was busted transporting Ksh1, 099, 000 cash on Saturday.
