A body of a 7-year-old boy was on Sunday found dumped in a forest in Kuresoi North, Nakuru County.

The body of the boy was discovered at around 4pm by a group of children herding animals in the forest.

Area Nyumba Kumi elder Stephen Arap Koech, who spoke to a local media, divulged that the boy seemed to have been strangled before his body was dumped in the forest.

“On looking at the body of the boy it seemed like he was strangled before the body was thrown at the forest which is near a police post,” Koech said.

The elder further noted that this is the second incident happening in the area.
