In a notice issued on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, the County Government of Bomet said the land allocation process was finalized on February 2, 2026.

“Notice is hereby given that preparation of the above Part Development Plan is complete. The development plan relates to a site situated within Sotik Town, Bomet County. Copies of the development plans as prepared have been deposited for public inspection at the County Government Offices of the Department of Lands, Housing, and Urban Development, Bomet,” the notice reads.

The county government said the documents are available for public inspection free of charge at the department’s offices between 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., from Monday to Friday.

Members of the public who wish to raise objections or make representations have been invited to submit them in writing to the County Executive Committee Member for Lands, Housing, and Urban Development, P.O. Box 19, Bomet.
