Jacque Maribe has been detained for ten days pending investigations. The Chief Magistrate said that there were compelling reasons to detain the news anchor for those days to allow the investigations to be adequately completed.

The Citizen TV new anchor, was arraigned in court after being arrestedallegedly for being an accessory to the murder of Monica Kimani who was found dead in her house in Kilimani.
Police detectives investigating the murder of 28 year old, Monica Kimani found a purse that is assumed to have belonged to the slain girl, in Jacque Maribe’s house.
Her house help also said that she had seen the main suspect Joseph Irungu burning a Kanzu which it is suspected that she had been wearing at the time of the murder.
