Citizen TV and the entire Royal Media Services group were said to be so much against State House that no one would have that that what was witnessed could have actually happened so soon. In fact the government embarked on getting all “illegally acquired” frequencies from Royal Media as Pressident Uhuru Kenyatta’s own media group, Mediamax poached over 32 employees from RMS including many key technical staff.

Things have changed and RMS seems to be the smarted media house here. Citizen TV has maintained and even improved its rating that the KTN, K24 and NTV trio combined would never match. It seems like the CEO of Royal Media Services Wachira Waruru plus group Editorial Director Farida Karoney works magic and is currently the best combination in the Kenyan media.

Citizen TV was even one time called CORD TV.

Citizen TV will on 8th April air the EXCLUSIVE of the century, Uhuru Kenyatta in State House. Like we previously said, K24 needed not poach 32 people. They should have just poached Wachira Waruru and then let him do the rest. In the promotion, President Uhuru is seen asking viewers to watch Citizen TV.
