The Wiper party members have vowed to set their party leader as the fore runner in the next election. They have vowed not to play second fiddle any more.

The Wiper leaders have asked that party leader negotiate for more seats in the committees as they feel like the seats are being entirely hoarded by the O.D.M party.

The chairman of the Wiper party and Makueni governor Kivutha Kibwana has asked that the positions that were awarded to mostly O.D.M candidate to be recalled for further discussions.

He said that the parliament minority chief whip that was given to Suna East MP Junet Mohamed be recalled so that the the seats can be distributed as per the agreement by the principals at NASA.

“There has been some disquiet about the sharing of House Committee positions and we have asked our party leader at the summit to talk about this issue which is not a light matter. There was an agreement between the principals about how those seats were going to be shared so that there is equity in the coalition,”he said

ODM members of parliament have argued that their party had garnered more seats in the coalition therefore they could not be expected to receive the same number of seats  as the other parties.

Wiper have however resolved to postponed the Wiper people assembly forum that was slated for Sunday, January 14 to January 19.

The NASA coalition has been faced with internal wrangles when it came to the distribution of positions in parliament and senate, leaders from the coast, Amani National coalition have also cried foul over what they termed as unfair distribution.

The latest move by Wiper may slow down or lead to the much awaited swearing in of NASA leader Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka as the people’s president and the people’s deputy president.
