Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture and Livestock Development Mutahi Kagwe has made new appointments to the Tea Board of Kenya.

In a Kenya Gazette notice dated September 19, 2025, Kagwe named Jackline Cherono, Joseph Karioki Ngige, and William Otemba Oyosi as members of the board. Their appointments take effect immediately.

On the same gazette, the Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury and Economic Planning, John Mbadi Ng’ongo, announced the appointment of former Auditor-General Edward Ouko as the Non-Executive Chairperson of the Anti-Money Laundering Authority. He will serve for a three-year term.

Ouko, who served as Kenya’s Auditor-General between 2011 and 2019, also held the position of Auditor-General at the African Development Bank (AfDB).
