Drew Doughty, born on December 8, 1989, in London, Ontario, Canada, is a professional ice hockey defenseman and alternate captain for the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL).

He excelled in junior hockey with the Guelph Storm of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), earning multiple All-Star honors before being selected by the Kings.
He made his NHL debut in the 2008-09 season and earned All-Rookie Team honors.
