    Form Two Student Killed In Kakamega

    Police have launched investigations into the death of a Form Two student whose lifeless body was found in Namasanda village, Kakamega County.

    Reports indicate the boy was murdered before his body was dumped on a road near his home.

    Over the last three weeks eight such incidents have been recorded, three involving secondary students.

    Residents have decried increasing cases of insecurity in the region.

    Local leaders led by Matungu MP Justus Murunga have also condemned the killings.

    In August last year, the region was on the limelight after a student at Lugusi Secondary School stabbed his colleague, killing him on the spot.

    The two students reportedly engaged in a fierce scuffle before their teacher sent them to the staff room for disciplinary action.

    The attacker sneaked in with a knife he used to fatally injure his victim.
