    GDC Advertises CEO Position

    The Geothermal Development Company (GDC) has advertised the position of Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

    In a notice issued on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, GDC invited qualified and interested candidates to apply for the position, directing applicants to access detailed job requirements and application guidelines through its official website.

    Interested individuals have been advised to submit their applications through the online portal no later than 5:00 p.m. on June 25, 2026.

    Applicants can access detailed job profiles through GDC official website and submit applications via the designated recruitment portal, GDC jobs portal.

    GDC emphasised that applications will only be accepted through the online application link and must be submitted before the deadline.

    The recruitment comes as the tenure of outgoing Managing Director and CEO, Paul Ngugi, comes into focus. Ngugi was appointed to lead the state-owned geothermal energy firm on April 18, 2023.
