Gor Mahia’s former coach, Jose Marcelo Ferreira better known as Ze Maria is the new head coach for Albenian Club, KF Tirana.

The Brazilian landed the job barely 24 hours after leaving K’Ogalo. He ran a successful season with Gor winning the SportPesa Premier League.

He was on Saturday unveiled as the new coach taking with him Marco Aurelia and Rafael Costa both with whom he worked with while in the country.

During the unveiling, Ze Maria referred to Gor Mahia as a ‘great’ team.

‘ I’m honoured to be here. I thank President Halili for the opportunity. It is a club with a Brazilian history. I have been part of big clubs in my career like Flamengo and lately  i have run a great team in Kenya,” Ze Maria said.
