Hillary Koech (Transport and Infrastructure), Valentine Chumo (Education) and Stanley Baliach (Land). Others are chief officers Jonah Biwott (Transport and Infrastructure), Daniel Sang (Education), David Kemei (Director Roads), Edwin Mosbei (Project Manager – ECDE).

The governor Sang appointed a seven man committee to carry out investigation on the suspended official.

The county is said to have lost a consignment of tyres amounting to Sh3.4 million meant for county vehicles and also the loss of ECDE construction material.

His Uasin Gishu counterpart governor Jackson Mandago has fired a sub-county admin for posting on Facebook comments that were meant to castigate Members of County Assembly (MCAs) who were on a ‘wasteful’ trip to Kisumu.

In his post, Philip Kimutai Biwott accused the MCAs of enriching themselves with public funds, by receiving an allowance of Ksh14,250 per day.

“Allowances. Kisumu is 14,250 per day. It is called per diem. In government when you are broke you create a workshop, training, seminar, interrelationships etc. to cover up (sic),” posted Biwott.
