Human rights lawyer Harun Ndubi was on Monday charged with careless driving and failing to obey verbal directives given by a police officer by declining to blow into a breathalyzer.
Appearing before Magistrate Elector Riany, the advocate denied all the charges and was released on a Sh80,000 cash bail.
The charge sheet indicated that he (Ndubi) on February 3, 2019 at about 6:30p.m along Lang’ata road drove on a public road without due care and attention to other road users by failing to give way and hitting a police motorcycle thereby damaging it and causing injury to the officer.
