Vodacom offers a variety of services and content subscriptions, including data bundles, music, games, and third-party services. Sometimes, you may find charges on your account for services you did not realize you subscribed to. To manage your account better and avoid unwanted deductions, it’s important to know how to check your active subscriptions. Fortunately, Vodacom provides several easy ways to do this through your phone, the Vodacom app, and online platforms.

    1. Check Subscriptions Using the USSD Code

The quickest way to check your Vodacom subscriptions is by using a USSD code directly from your phone. This method works on both smartphones and feature phones and doesn’t require internet access.

    1. Dial *135*997# on your Vodacom line.
    2. Press the call button.
    3. A menu will appear showing your active subscriptions.
    4. You can also select options to view details, cancel services, or unsubscribe from all unwanted subscriptions.

This is the most reliable method to identify all content services currently billing your Vodacom account.

    1. Check via the My Vodacom App

If you have internet access, the My Vodacom app is another convenient way to view and manage your subscriptions.

    1. Download and install the My Vodacom app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
    2. Open the app and log in using your Vodacom number and password.
    3. On the main dashboard, tap Services or Content Services.
    4. You will see a list of all your active subscriptions, including their costs and renewal dates.
    5. If you wish to stop any service, select it and tap Unsubscribe.

The app also lets you track your airtime, data usage, and billing information in real time, helping you stay on top of your expenses.

    1. Check Through the Vodacom Website

You can also check your subscriptions through the official Vodacom website.

    1. Visit www.vodacom.co.za.
    2. Log in to My Vodacom using your registered phone number or email address.
    3. Go to My Account, then click Content Services or Subscriptions.
    4. A list of your current subscriptions and charges will appear.

From this page, you can manage or cancel any unwanted subscriptions.

    1. Contact Vodacom Customer Care

If you prefer speaking to a support representative or can’t access your account online, you can contact Vodacom Customer Care for assistance.

    • Dial 135 from your Vodacom number (free of charge).
    • When connected, select the option for Content Services or speak directly to an agent.
    • Ask them to read out your active subscriptions and cancel any you do not recognize.

Alternatively, you can visit a nearby Vodacom store with your ID for in-person assistance.

    1. Use the Vodacom SMS Service

In some cases, Vodacom also notifies customers via SMS about new or active subscriptions. If you receive messages about a service you don’t recall activating, reply with STOP followed by the service name to cancel it. You can also send STOP ALL to 31050 to remove all unwanted content subscriptions at once.
