After applying to the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT), the next important step is tracking your application status. Checking your TUT status helps you know whether your application has been received, processed, accepted, or declined. Fortunately, TUT provides an easy online system that allows applicants to view their progress without visiting the campus. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to check your TUT application status.

    1. Visit the TUT Application Status Portal

The easiest and most reliable way to check your application progress is through the official TUT Application Status portal. This platform is available to all applicants who have applied for admission online or manually.

    1. Open your internet browser and go to the official website: www.tut.ac.za.
    2. On the homepage, click on “Study at TUT.”
    3. From the dropdown menu, select “Check your Admission Status.”
    4. You will be redirected to the TUT ITS iEnabler system.
    5. Click “Admission Status” or “Student Enquiry.”
    6. Enter your ID Number or Student Number in the required field.
    7. Click Submit or Search to view your results.

Your screen will display your application status, showing whether your application is still pending, provisionally accepted, or declined.

    1. Check via the TUT iEnabler Direct Link

If you want to go straight to the status page, you can visit the portal directly using this link: https://tutprod.tut.ac.za/pls/prodi41/w99pkg.mi_login.

    • Enter your student number and PIN to log in.
    • If you’ve forgotten your PIN, click on “Forgot PIN?” and follow the instructions to reset it.
    • Once logged in, navigate to Application Status to see the outcome of your application.
    1. Check via Email or SMS Notifications

TUT often communicates with applicants through email or SMS after processing applications. If your contact details were entered correctly during the application process, you’ll receive an email or message notifying you whether your application was successful, provisionally accepted, or declined.

Make sure to check your email inbox and spam folder regularly for updates from admissions@tut.ac.za or similar addresses.

    1. Contact the TUT Admissions Office

If you’re unable to check your status online or experience technical issues, you can contact the TUT Admissions Office directly for assistance.

    • Phone: 012 382 5750
    • Email: general@tut.ac.za
    • Website: www.tut.ac.za

When contacting the office, provide your full name, ID number, and student number to help the staff locate your record quickly.

    1. Visit the TUT Campus (If Necessary)

As a last resort, you can visit the TUT Admissions Office at your nearest campus for in-person assistance. This is especially helpful if you submitted your application manually or if your online status hasn’t been updated.
