Sending an email to multiple recipients is a common task for both personal and professional communication. Whether you are sharing information, making announcements, or coordinating with a group, knowing how to send email to multiple recipients helps you save time and stay organized. Email platforms provide different options to include several people while keeping communication clear and efficient. With the right approach, you can send emails to many recipients and professionally.

    1. Table of Contents

      Toggle
      • Open Your Email and Start a New Message
      • Add Recipients in the “To” Field
      • Use “CC” for Additional Recipients
      • Use “BCC” for Privacy
      • Write and Send Your Email

Open Your Email and Start a New Message

Begin by logging into your email account and clicking on the option to compose a new message.

This opens a blank email where you can add recipients and content.

    • Log in to your email account
    • Click “Compose” or “New Email”
    • Open a new message window
    1. Add Recipients in the “To” Field

In the “To” field, you can enter multiple email addresses separated by commas.

All recipients in this field will be visible to each other.

    • Enter email addresses correctly
    • Separate each address with a comma
    • Double-check for errors
    1. Use “CC” for Additional Recipients

The “CC” (carbon copy) field allows you to include more recipients who should receive the email but are not the main audience.

Everyone can still see who is included.

    • Add secondary recipients in CC
    • Keep communication transparent
    • Use when appropriate
    1. Use “BCC” for Privacy

If you want to send an email to multiple people without sharing their email addresses, use the “BCC” (blind carbon copy) field.

Recipients in BCC cannot see each other’s details.

    • Add addresses in BCC
    • Protect recipient privacy
    • Use for large groups
    1. Write and Send Your Email

After adding recipients, write your message clearly and include a subject line.

Review everything before sending to ensure accuracy.

    • Add a clear subject
    • Write your message
    • Proofread and send
