The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has invited applications from organisations seeking accreditation to participate in the Ol-Kalou Constituency Member of National Assembly by-election scheduled for Thursday, July 16, 2026.
In a statement issued on June 2, 2026, the Commission said all interested organisations must submit their applications through the IEBC Accreditation Management System via https://ams.iebc.or.ke.
The deadline for submission of applications is Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 5:00pm.
“The Commission will issue badges to accredited organisations to enable access to polling stations and the Constituency Tallying Centre,” the statement read.
The Ol-Kalou parliamentary seat fell vacant following the death of the late three-term Member of Parliament, David Njuguna Kiaraho, who passed away on March 29, 2026.
IEBC has already cleared nine candidates to contest the seat. The candidates include Samuel Muchina Nyagah (UDA), Kamau Ngotho (DCP), Wilson Kigwa (Jubilee), Timothy Kamau Kariuku (PRP), Rachael Wangui Njoroge (PDP), Edwin Kariiri Muchiri (PNU), Stephen Wanyoike (NLP), Edward Mathenge (KMM), and Abdullahi Abdifatah Hussein (FPK).
