    Isiolo South MP Tubi Bidu dies in hospital after illness

    Isiolo South Member of Parliament Tubi Bidu is dead.

    Bidu died at the Nairobi Hospital Wednesday evening where he was receiving treatment, National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula said.

    “It is with profound deep sorrow that I inform you and the nation of the demise of our esteemed colleague, the Member for Isiolo South Constituency, the Hon.
Tubi Bidu Mohamed, MP, who has left us this evening, Wednesday, 12″ November 2025 while receiving treatment at the Nairobi Hospital,” said Wetangula.

    Until his demise, Bidu served as a Member of the Departmental Committee on Environment, Forestry and Mining and the Public Petitions Committee.

    Tubi was serving his first term as a Member of the House.

    Previously, he was the inaugural Speaker of the Isiolo County Assembly, where he diligently served until 2017.

    This means there will be a by election in the constituency probably next year.
