John “Jack” Roslovic is an American professional ice hockey center who currently plays for the Edmonton Oilers in the National Hockey League (NHL).
Born on January 29, 1997, in Columbus, Ohio, Roslovic stands at 6 feet 1 inch and weighs approximately 198 pounds.
He shoots right-handed and has built a reputation as a skilled, versatile forward capable of playing both center and wing.
Known for his hockey IQ, playmaking ability, and scoring touch, Roslovic has carved out a solid NHL career after being selected in the first round of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.

Career
Roslovic’s path to the NHL began with the United States National Team Development Program (NTDP), where he excelled in the United States Hockey League (USHL).
He then spent one season at Miami University in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC), posting 26 points in 36 games as a freshman and earning All-Rookie honors.

Drafted 25th overall by the Winnipeg Jets in 2015, he signed his entry-level contract in 2016 and split time between the NHL and the American Hockey League (AHL) with the Manitoba Moose, where he led the team in scoring during the 2016-17 season.
He made his NHL debut with the Jets and enjoyed productive stretches in Winnipeg, including a hat trick in 2019 that earned him NHL First Star of the Week honors.
In January 2021, Roslovic was traded to the Columbus Blue Jackets, his hometown team, along with Patrik Laine in exchange for Pierre-Luc Dubois.
He spent several seasons in Columbus, recording career-high offensive numbers, such as 22 goals and 23 assists in the 2021-22 season.
A mid-season trade in 2024 sent him to the New York Rangers for a conditional draft pick.
He then signed as a free agent with the Carolina Hurricanes for the 2024-25 season before joining the Edmonton Oilers on a one-year, $1.5 million contract in October 2025.
As of the 2025-26 season with the Oilers, Roslovic has continued to contribute offensively, often playing as a third-line center or skilled winger.
Over his NHL career spanning more than 590 games across the Jets, Blue Jackets, Rangers, Hurricanes, and Oilers, he has accumulated roughly 120 goals and 170 assists.
Accolades
With the U.S. NTDP and junior national teams, Roslovic won gold medals at the 2014 World U-17 Hockey Challenge and the 2015 IIHF World U18 Championships, where he was named one of the Top Three Players on Team USA.
He also contributed to the U.S. gold medal-winning team at the 2017 IIHF World Junior Championship.
In college, he was named to the NCHC All-Rookie Team in 2015-16 and was a finalist for NCHC Rookie of the Year, along with earning Rookie of the Month honors for October.
In the AHL, he was selected for the 2017 AHL All-Star Game and named AHL Player of the Month for November 2017 while leading the Manitoba Moose in scoring.
In the NHL, he has recorded multiple multi-goal games and two hat tricks, one of which included an overtime winner.
