Siblings
Jansen’s older brother Nicklas has faced significant challenges, living with a rare genetic disorder called Mucopolysaccharidosis (MPS).
Despite this, Nick has been a source of inspiration for Jansen, who has spoken about the resilience his brother demonstrates and the family’s experiences supporting him through medical issues, including hospital visits during their youth.
Jansen also has a younger brother named Jonas, who played hockey in the Western Hockey League (WHL) with the Prince George Cougars, creating a memorable period when the Harkins brothers were involved in the same junior league environment.
