Career
Boqvist was selected 36th overall by the New Jersey Devils in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.
He made his NHL debut with the Devils in 2019 and spent several seasons with the organization, developing his game as a versatile forward capable of contributing offensively while adapting to different roles.
After his time in New Jersey, he signed with the Florida Panthers as a free agent in the summer of 2024.
His brother Adam joined him shortly afterward on a separate contract, making them teammates.
In Florida, Boqvist carved out a significant role, playing in a career-high number of games during the 2024-25 season and contributing steady production.
