‘I Am Just Collateral Damage,’ Moses Kuria Says (Video)

Gatundu South Mp, Moses Kuria on Monday evening said that he was only collateral damage in Johnston Muthama’s arrest.

Kuria was arrested on Monday morning over hate speech remarks made over the past week. Muthama too was apprehended at his Kangundo home before being taken to the DCI’s office for questioning.

The Kiambu legislator says the said hate speech comments made were over a week old. He says that he met with NCIC Chair, Francis Ole Kaparo who according to Kuria did not find his comments ‘distasteful.’

In his defense, the Mp said that he has ‘kids who are on social media and are displeased with what they read about their father.’

He added that he was an easy target and maintained that he did nothing wrong.

NASA’s Raila Odinga who was at the Pangani Police Station said that Muthama was innocent.
