Karen Residential Community has written to Gospel Singer Alex Apoko popularly known as Ringtone seeking to stop him from rearing cows.

According to the letter the singer posted on his Instagram page, his cows were a bother to the high-end Karen residential standards.

“Mr Ringtone please note that Karen is not a farm but a resident’s community, ” read part of the letter signed by the residential Chairman, James Hirst.

In the letter, the gospel singer who is not new to controversy is said to be rearing 40 cows at his home.

The residential boss has now threatened Ringtone with a legal action very soon if he doesn’t act appropriately to the community’s rules and regulations.

“Please note we are considering a legal case against you if you don’t cooperate with the rules and regulations of Karen Community residence association,” he said.

However, on his part, the threats seem to be nothing but an empty talk.

“I don’t fear the Karen residents association. My cows in Karen have not trespassed anyone’s property,” Ringtone wrote on his Instagram page.

Further, the singer noted that the move was ill advised as it sought to block the poor from amassing wealth.

“This are the strategies used by the rich to block the poor from being rich. Am ready for court” he added.

Late last year, Ringtone, who is not shy from updating his fans about his personal life, was the talk of town after he posted that he was desperately searching for a wife.

The singer shared a photo on social media of himself gesturing at an empty seat in a lawn while looking depressed. He wondered why beautiful girls didn’t want to marry him despite having a lot of money and a fancy house.

“Mimi ni mpweke sana. Am so lonely. Miaka yangu ya kuoa imefika but sijui ntaoa nani. I cry alone daily in my one million dollar mansion. I ask god why all the beautiful god loving girls don’t want me. Please pray for me.”
