Kenya Airways has announced that its WhatsApp communication channel will be temporarily unavailable for 24 hours to allow for system upgrades.

In a statement issued on Thursday, November 13, 2025, the national carrier said the service will be unavailable from 6:00 p.m. today until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 14.

“We are currently enhancing our systems to serve you better. As a result, our WhatsApp service will be temporarily unavailable from November 13, 1800hrs to November 14, 1800hrs,” the airline said.

During the maintenance period, customers are advised to reach the airline through its other social media platforms — X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, and Instagram — or by calling +254 711 024 747 directly.

“Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to improve your experience,” Kenya Airways added.
