A Kenyan investigative journalist Kassim Mohamed is among those who were arrested by Uganda police under unclear circumstances.

Mohamed was arrested along side Rashid Kaweesa, Godfrey Bandebye and Solomon Serwanjj’s wife of NBS TV.

Mohamed was an investigative journalist for the Global investigative journalism Network. He once worked at Kenya Television Network (KTN) with Mohamed Ali and John Allan Namu in the investigative desk.

When the two left KTN, he is said to have followed Namu and became among the pioneer journalists who started the African Uncensored series.
