The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has unveiled support centres across the country to assist 2025 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) candidates facing challenges during the application process for university and college placement.

In a notice issued on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, KUCCPS said the initiative is part of efforts to ensure all eligible Form Four leavers successfully submit their applications for the 2026/2027 placement cycle.

The support centres have been set up in various universities, technical institutions and colleges across different regions of the country.

Universities designated as support centres include Alupe University, Bomet University College, Chuka University, Dedan Kimathi University of Technology, Egerton University, Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology, Kabarnet University College and Kaimosi Friends University.

Others include Kabarak University, Daystar University, University of Kabianga, Tom Mboya University, Moi University, Maseno University, Maasai Mara University and Pwani University.

Colleges listed as support centres include Belgut Technical and Vocational College (Kericho), Emurua Dikkir TVC (Narok), Isiolo TVC (Isiolo), Total TTI (Nakuru), Shamberere TTI (Kakamega), Nachu TVC (Kiambu), Maralal TVC (Samburu), Mabera TTI (Migori) and Lunga Lunga TVC (Kwale).

KUCCPS also listed Laisamis TTI (Marsabit), Kinango TVC (Kwale), Garsen TVC (Tana River), Endebess TTC (Trans Nzoia) and Mawego National Polytechnic (Homa Bay) as additional support centres.

The exercise, which runs from April 13 to April 24, 2026, aims to provide hands-on assistance to students experiencing technical challenges, difficulties in course selection or issues accessing the KUCCPS portal.

KUCCPS said it has deployed officers to each centre to guide applicants and respond to their queries.

In addition to the physical centres, support will also be available at Huduma Centres nationwide, as well as at KUCCPS headquarters located at ACK Garden House in Nairobi.

The placement service has already opened its portal for degree programme applications for candidates who scored a minimum grade of C+.

Applicants have been urged to submit their applications through the KUCCPS portal before the May 6, 2026 deadline.
