Academy award-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o on Wednesday sent social media into a frenzy after revealing look-alike runway model Adut Aketch.
In a post on social media, the Hollywood star shared a picture of the 18-year-old model, sparking a conversation on the close-resemblance of the two African beauties.
Lupita captioned the post: “They say we look alike. I would have to agree. And I am flattered that this beauty gets confused for me.”
She wouldn’t help but laud the young cat-walk model for her success.
“But model @AdutAkech is in a class and path of her own. I feel a swell of pride and a rush of giddiness every time I see her strut down a runway or cover another powerful brand campaign or magazine. Adut, you are unstoppable and I am cheering on the sidelines for you!” Lupita wrote on Instagram.

When she was 7-years-old her family, together with other South Sudanese refugees, were moved to Adelaide in Australia.
Aketch began professional modeling at age 16, signing to her mother agency, Chadwick Models, in Sydney, Australia.
She is one of the most sought young models in the industry currently, ranked on the hot list on models.com.
Meanwhile, this week, Kenyans on Twitter reacted to supposedly Idris Elba’s look-alike, days after his wedding.
The picture of the man identified as a local sports journalist got Kenyans talking.
