Machakos County first lady, Lillian Ng’ang’a Mutua could not hold back her emotions as she attended a funeral of one of her deceased security aide.
The governor, Alfred Mutua and his wife on Saturday, June 24, attended the burial of AP Corporal Jacinta Nthenya Muteti in Machakos.
The AP who was attached to the Office of the Governor was among four others who lost their lives in a road accident along Nairobi-Mombasa highway.
The accident that happened on Tuesday, June 13, killed four people in Lukenya areas.
“She was social, kind, likeable and motherly. She will be dearly missed by all she interacted with during her life. Let us continue to remember her family in prayers as they continue to take comfort from God. Gone for now but forever in our minds and hearts. Rest well Jacinta,” said the governor.
Lillian comforted the fallen hero’s children as the Administration Police gave the deceased a 21 gun salute.
