Machakos Level 5 Hospital is currently under investigations after a newborn baby disappeared at the facility moments after birth.

According to relatives of the woman who delivered at the hospital, they were unable to trace the baby after the mother gave birth on Wednesday.

It is reported that the woman’s brother, who accompanied her to the facility on the day of her delivery, was informed that the baby who was delivered through Cesarean section died at birth.

The brother mentioned: “My sister demanded to be shown her baby’s corpse which the hospital’s management failed to provide.

“The hospital’s management instead started dodging the family. This morning we were told that the management would give us a report on the matter at 2.00 pm which they didn’t.,” he stated.
