Elsewhere, the DCI also arrested three senior officials who were found in possession of thousands of fake Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) stamps.

The trio were at an alcoholic drink maker located in Thika where DCI officials confiscated several cartoons of unaccustomed alcoholic spirits.

Phrabhu Sethu (36), Kennedy Ng’ang’a Gitau (30), and Shadrack Mutinda Muinde (26) were later presented before the Thika Law Courts and charged with tax evasion among other counts.
