Kenya’s Harambee Stars striker Masud Juma has terminated his contract with South Africa’s Premier Soccer League side Cape Town City.

The 21-year-old joined the coach Bennie McCarthy outfit in January this year from Kenyan Premier League side Kariobangi Sharks.

Masud, who top-scored in the 2017 KPL season, confirmed his shock departure in a short Facebook post.

“I have terminated my contract with Cape Town City FC. I’m a free agent,” he wrote.

The player is believed to have fallen out of favor with Bennie ahead of the new 2018-18 season, which starts over the weekend.

He is believed to be heading to Europe in his next move.
