EACC detectives arrested the Senor Assistant Director of Medical Services Georgina Wangu Kamunge, on Friday evening.

Wangui was nabbed on allegations of bribery demands from firearm owners.

According to reports, Wangu is alleged to have sought bribes from firearm owners who seek psychiatric evaluation reports from Mathare Hospital.

Following the fraud acts, the owners who were going through a vetting process for licensed firearm, reported the issue to the anti-corruption body.

The agency then carried a covert operation which enabled them to record Wangui and other officials demanding for bribes.
