Jane Miguna narrated of how she constantly called the case manager at the Canadian High commission who failed to tell her of her husband’s whereabouts.

“From Sunday to yesterday, she was not even able to tell me if Miguna was dead or alive, That really worried me, because the commissioner was not even able to get information from the Kenyan government to assure her that they are holding him and he’s alive. Really, although she may have information but she is not giving it to me. At least somebody should be able to tell me, yes, he’s alive. But no. I was not told anything. They just say they are aware of the case and they are working on it.” she said during the interview.

The lawyers wife narrated how she found it difficult not to tell her three teenager daughters of their fathers whereabouts and was afraid of them learning of the same on social media.

Miguna was deported on Tuesday night after the police failed to obey court orders to produce him in court.

The Interior CS Matiang’i said that Miguna was deported as he he had earlier revoked his citizenship and  had not yet reclaimed it.
