    Ministries advertise audit committee vacancies

    The Ministry of Information, Communications and The Digital Economy and the Ministry of Roads and Transport have advertised vacancies for members of their respective Ministerial Audit Committees.

    In a notice issued on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, the Ministry of Information, Communications and the Digital Economy invited applications from qualified and interested candidates to fill the position of Member of the Ministerial Audit Committee.

    The ministry said applicants must possess a degree from a recognised university, have at least five years of work experience, and be members in good standing of a professional body.

    Candidates are also required to demonstrate knowledge of public service or government operations, experience in risk management, and compliance with the integrity requirements outlined in Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.

    Interested applicants who meet the requirements have been asked to submit their applications together with a detailed curriculum vitae, copies of academic and professional certificates, a national identity card, and testimonials in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Member of Audit Committee.”

    Applicants may also hand-deliver their applications to the Cabinet Secretary’s Office on the 10th Floor of Teleposta Towers by May 26, 2026.

    “The appointed candidate shall be required to produce clearance from the National Police Service, HELB, KRA, EACC and clearance from any accredited Credit Reference Bureau,” the ministry said in the notice.

    Meanwhile, the Ministry of Roads and Transport has announced vacancies for its Ministerial Audit Committee, seeking to recruit a chairperson and three committee members.

    The ministry said interested applicants should refer to its website, https://www.roads.go.ke, for detailed application requirements.

    Alternatively, candidates may hand-deliver applications to the Human Resource Management and Development Unit at Transcom House, 5th Floor, Room 513.

    The ministry said all applications must be received no later than June 2, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. East African Time.
