A Nairobi blogger was last night attacked and left for dead in Nairobi while walking in the streets. According to sources close to the blogger Susan Mukami, she was from Lavington when the matatu she was in decided to end the journey at the Koja Stage and not Odeon Cinema as is the case.

Some muggers attacked her and when she tried to resist and fight them, she was stabbed and left bleeding. She tried to call her family but passed out in the middle of the call and only found herself at Nairobi Hospital this morning.

The blogger who writes for potentash was not reachable until this morning when her sister located her at Nairobi hospital.

The rise in crime in Nairobi is making life hard for ladies who walk alone at night.

Susan’s sister posted an appeal on Facebook asking anyone with information to help locate her.
