Former President Daniel arap Moi has registered for Huduma Namba at his Kabarnet gardens home in Nairobi.

According to reports, Mzee Moi took part of the exercise in the company of ICT Cabinet Secretary (CS) Joe Mucheru.

He went through the formalities of the exercise and finally got his Namba.

Baringo Senator Gideon Moi is noted to have also been present during the exercise.

Mzee Moi has joined many other Kenyans who have been caught up in the last minute rush of registering for the Namba since the exercise ends on Saturday.

Speaking on the registration exercise, Interior CS Fred Matiang’i on Monday noted that their would be no extension as it would cost the government extra funds.

He also mentioned that by Monday, at least 31 million Kenyans had been captured on the National Integrated Identity Management System (NIIMS.)

Kenyans in the diaspora have until June 20 to register for the same.
