Self-proclaimed Kalenjin queen of hip-hop Sandra Chebet Koech known by her stage name Msupa S has disclosed how money and influence led to a bitter fallout with ex hubby.

In a recent interview with a local media, the lass claimed while money and fame improved her lifestyle, the two led to a bitter break-up with her lover.

Immediately she started going out for events and her account fattened, Msupa S claims the man got jealous.

“Problems started when I started making some money. I started having issues with my man after money started trickling in. He started accusing me of cheating on him, even with people like Mzazi Tuva, something I did not. I have never cheated on him,” she said.

The mother of one says her ex-husband threatened to kill her.

Constant domestic violence almost drove her to depression.

“I have never cheated on him. It was painful, he even hit me. He used to threaten he would kill me, so it got to a point I even thought of killing myself but I could not because of my kid, I did not want him to be without a mother. I even bought dangerous pills to swallow and die but I could not,” she added.
