    ANC Party Leader, Musalia Mudavadi

Musalia Mudavadi, one of NASA’s principals has called on the IEBC to take action against the president and his deputy for misappropriation of public funds.

He has accused the two of using state resources to push their campaigns which according to the law, attracts a hefty fine or a jail term of up to 6 years.

According to the Kenyan constitution, government officers who breach the electoral code of conduct can be fined KSh 1 million or spend 6 years behind bars.

“What has Water CS Eugene Wamalwa got to do with the issuance of title deeds? What is the IEBC waiting for? This is unacceptable,” Mudavadi told the Standard.

The ANC party leader has also accused the jubilee government of giving handouts to the IDPs. The president in the recent past handed IDPs in Kisii county an Ksh. 800 Million cheque. It was said that the money was only a PR gimmick and he was only trying to buy votes from the NASSA stronghold.

“Guilt-laden pieces of silver as bribery for long-suffering and discriminated IDPs is too little, too late. Is it a compensation or resettlement? What about the host families who bore the brunt of staying with the integrated IDPs for 10 years?” Mudavadi added.

Mudavadi, whose political vigor seems on an all time high, accused the jubilee government of trying their hand at reviving the ICC cases in order to win sympathy votes. The President however defended his government and instead accused the opposition of reviving the cases.

The premier CS hopeful also accused Uhuruto of riding on projects that they cannot justify. NASA presidential flag bearer, Raila Odinga has also accused the jubilee government of implementing his ideas without giving him credit.

The former Prime Minister, has in his campaign tours said that the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) was his idea while in the coalition government.
